Once a year, in mid-August, Ilkeston plays host to a fantastic array of classic cars, motorbikes, buses, lorries, steam engines, stalls and much, much more. These are displayed on the Market Place, Town Hall car park, Pimlico and surrounding areas in the market town of Ilkeston in Derbyshire. The show is organised by the Erewash Partnership (on a not-for-profit basis) and a dedicated team of volunteers who give up their time to give something back to the community in which they live. It is this dedication which has helped to raise vital money for local charities. Without the continued support from our business sponsors, exhibitors and visitors, there would be no show and we would not raise a single penny. So please support the show and join us on 11th August when Ilkeston will again come alive with the sights and sounds of yesteryear for the whole family to enjoy.
The event is now quite complicated and costly to stage (approximately £6,000) and needs a lot of help and support. We need more business sponsorship - packages start from £50. We are very pleased to announce that the following local businesses will be sponsoring the event this year and will cover a large part of the costs – this includes security, paramedic and fire cover, printing etc. We are very grateful for their generosity. This will enable us to put the money collected on the day towards good causes.
Sponsoring the Ilkeston Heritage & Classic Vehicle Show offers a wonderful opportunity for your business to gain exposure to thousands of people. The show is the biggest one-day event in the Ilkeston area!
In 2017 the event attracted over 7,000 visitors and was covered by regional media. In the run up to the event, posts on the event Facebook page regularly achieved views of over 3,000 – peaking at over 7,000 with a total engagement figure of over 28,000 people! The page now has over 2,100 followers.
The original intention of the Erewash Partnership was to provide a day out for local people, showcase some of our excellent local businesses and our beautiful Market Place. We needed to raise money to put the event on and, hopefully, more than cover our costs. This has proved to be the case and, after deducting costs, the money raised has supported good causes. With the opportunity given to local charities to fund raise at the event we have together raised over £4,000.
The event will continue to be free entry for vehicle exhibitors (pre-booking required) and the visiting public. In order to make this possible we need sponsorship prior to the event. To keep up the fund-raising impetus we also need support for local good causes, so please give generously on the day. The Partnership is a non-profit organisation and all money raised goes towards the cost of staging the event and to good causes.

We don't permitting any stalls/vendors to sell drinks as we want the many surrounding businesses who have always supported the show to benefit from the extra trade the event brings.
